Nutanix Expands AI Platform to Give Enterprises More Flexibility With Agentic AI

Nutanix expands its enterprise AI platform for secure and flexible agentic AI deployment

Nutanix is expanding its cloud platform with new capabilities aimed at helping enterprises deploy and manage production-grade agentic AI across on-premises, cloud and hybrid environments.

Nutanix is enhancing the Nutanix Cloud Platform with a dual-native architecture designed to support both virtual machines and containers for modern AI workloads. The company has introduced updates including Nutanix Enterprise AI 2.8 and Nutanix Kubernetes Platform 2.19, giving enterprises more flexibility in how they build, deploy and manage AI agents across different infrastructure environments.

The new capabilities are focused on making agentic AI easier to operate at enterprise scale, with greater emphasis on security, governance, infrastructure control and workload flexibility. Nutanix is also expanding its AI platform to support different deployment models, allowing businesses to run AI applications across on-premises infrastructure, cloud environments and specialised AI platforms rather than being tied to a single infrastructure approach.

The move comes as enterprises shift from experimenting with individual AI models toward deploying multiple AI agents in production. Nutanix is positioning its platform as an infrastructure layer that can help organisations manage this growing complexity while maintaining control over data, workloads and AI operations.
