The Emerging Science, Technology & Innovation Conclave (ESTIC 2026) will take place from October 27–29 at Bharat Mandapam in New Delhi, bringing together researchers, policymakers, industry representatives, entrepreneurs and international scientific experts. Organised by the Council of Scientific and Industrial Research (CSIR) under the guidance of the Office of the Principal Scientific Adviser to the Government of India, the conclave aims to strengthen collaboration between scientific institutions, industry and the wider innovation ecosystem.

The event follows the theme “Creative Minds, Catalyzing Science, Empowering Technologies” and will focus on research and emerging technologies with potential applications across industry, public services and strategic sectors. Its programme covers 12 thematic areas, including advanced manufacturing, energy technologies, synthetic biology, quantum communications, semiconductors, generative and autonomous AI, robotics, advanced healthcare, immersive technologies, agricultural technology and space science.

The three-day programme includes plenary talks, technical sessions, panel discussions, research presentations, poster sessions and business-to-business and business-to-government meetings. The conclave will also feature a technology exhibition highlighting developments from India's research institutions and deep-tech startup ecosystem. Three Nobel laureates—Joachim Frank, Sir Richard J. Roberts and Konstantin Novoselov—are among the scientific figures announced for the event.

ESTIC 2026 is intended to encourage stronger connections between scientific discovery, commercial development and public policy, supporting India's broader ambitions in research, technology and innovation.
