SEMICON West 2026 will take place from October 13–15 at the Moscone Center in San Francisco, bringing together companies and professionals from across the semiconductor and microelectronics industries. Organised by SEMI, the event comes as demand for advanced chips continues to grow, driven by artificial intelligence, high-performance computing, connected devices and the expansion of digital infrastructure.

This year's programme follows the theme “Transform Tomorrow” and examines the technologies and industry decisions shaping the next phase of semiconductor development. Key topics include advanced packaging, heterogeneous integration, AI-driven chip design, smart manufacturing, semiconductor materials, photonics, cybersecurity and supply chain resilience. Sessions will also address sustainability, workforce development and the industry's response to changing geopolitical and manufacturing requirements.

The summit features executive keynotes, technical forums, expert-led discussions, technology demonstrations and an exhibition floor where companies can showcase products and manufacturing solutions. Specialised programmes cover areas such as advanced packaging, semiconductor testing, manufacturing equipment and the components that support complex production systems.

SEMICON West provides a meeting point for chipmakers, equipment manufacturers, materials suppliers, researchers, policymakers and investors. As the semiconductor industry expands its role in AI and other advanced technologies, the event offers an opportunity to examine the engineering challenges, investments and partnerships needed to support future computing demand.
