Clinics On Cloud Funding: ₹120 Crore Series A to Expand Health ATMs
The latest Clinics On Cloud funding brings ₹120 crore (about $12.5 million) in a Series A funding round from Dubai-based healthcare investment platform Model42. The company said the investment values it at ₹600 crore and will support expansion of its connected healthcare network, manufacturing capacity and AI-led services.
The company announced the round on November 1, saying it had grown for eight years without external capital. Model42 is backed by Enlightened Minds Investments and is focused on healthcare and medtech businesses. The round's valuation was also reported by Inc42, which said the funding would help Clinics On Cloud expand internationally, with the United Arab Emirates serving as its planned hub.
Clinics On Cloud Funding Targets AI and Manufacturing
Clinics On Cloud plans to use the capital to strengthen its AI capabilities, expand research and development, and increase manufacturing capacity. It also intends to build partnerships with healthcare providers and technology companies, while expanding its network of connected micro-clinics.
The company is targeting markets across Africa, the United States and Southeast Asia, with the UAE positioned as the base for international expansion. It also plans to work with overseas partners seeking to establish connected micro-clinics. These plans place manufacturing and distribution alongside software development as priorities for the new funding.
How Clinics On Cloud's Health ATMs Work
Clinics On Cloud develops compact healthcare units designed to bring basic screening and primary-care access closer to communities, workplaces and institutions. Its Health ATMs combine connected medical devices with screening equipment and digital reporting. The company also offers portable Box Clinics, Health Lounges and Mobile Medical Units, which can be deployed in settings where a conventional clinic may not be readily available.
The startup says its systems have completed more than 3,500 installations and delivered over 12 million health screenings, with deployments across more than 200 Indian cities and seven other countries. Those figures are company-reported. Its customers and users include government health programmes, hospitals, corporate organisations and defence establishments.
Global Expansion Will Test the Micro-Clinic Model
The funding gives Clinics On Cloud capital to take its screening infrastructure beyond India, but overseas growth will depend on local partnerships, regulatory requirements and the ability to maintain medical equipment and services across different markets. Health-screening devices also need reliable clinical workflows and appropriate oversight; wider deployment alone does not establish the accuracy or effectiveness of every test.
The company's next stage will therefore involve more than adding Health ATMs. It will need to scale manufacturing, adapt its products to local healthcare systems and build partnerships that can support ongoing operations. The ₹120 crore round gives it resources to pursue that expansion, while its international deployments will show whether the micro-clinic model can be replicated at scale.
