Swish Raises $24M to Expand 10-Minute Food Delivery Network
Indian quick-food delivery startup Swish has raised $24 million in a funding round led by Bertelsmann India Investments, with existing investors Accel, Bain Capital Ventures and Hara Global also participating. The company will use the fresh capital to expand its kitchen network, strengthen supply-chain infrastructure and increase capacity in markets where demand is already growing.
Swish operates a vertically integrated 10-minute food delivery model, controlling its kitchens, technology and last-mile delivery operations. The company said its monthly orders have more than tripled since March and have now crossed 1 million.
Swish Plans More Kitchens and New Cities
The new funding will initially support expansion across Delhi-NCR and Bengaluru, while also helping Swish enter additional cities. The company is working toward a network of more than 1,000 kitchens over the next five years.
Swish operates neighbourhood kitchens designed to serve customers within a relatively small delivery radius. The model allows the company to prepare food close to customers instead of relying on restaurants spread across a wider geographic area.
Focus Shifts to Density and Infrastructure
The company is also investing in supply-chain infrastructure and additional kitchen capacity to handle higher order volumes. Swish currently offers more than 250 products across more than 20 food categories, while lunch and dinner have become a larger part of its order mix.
Bertelsmann India Investments' investment gives Swish a new institutional backer as it scales its operating network. Existing investors Accel, Bain Capital Ventures and Hara Global have also continued their support through the latest round.
Swish's latest raise comes as India's quick-commerce and food-delivery sectors increasingly compete on speed, convenience and delivery density. For Swish, the immediate challenge will be turning its growing order volume into a larger and more efficient kitchen network while expanding beyond its existing markets.
