Two Point O Capital Raises $10 Million to Expand AI-Powered Clean Energy Platform
Two Point O Capital has raised $10 million in a funding round led by Transition Venture Capital, as the climate technology company prepares to expand its clean-energy infrastructure business into battery energy storage. Existing investor Omnivore and angel investors Chiranjeev Singh Saluja and Sudhir M Reddy also participated. The company has not disclosed its valuation, the equity stake involved or the individual contributions.
The new capital will support expansion of battery energy storage systems (BESS), while strengthening the company's existing solar energy, energy-efficiency and wastewater-treatment operations. Two Point O Capital also plans to reach more customers in sectors with high energy and water requirements, including data centres, automotive, pharmaceuticals, manufacturing and healthcare.
Two Point O Capital Adds Battery Storage to Its Platform
Founded in 2024, Two Point O provides financing and deployment support for clean-energy and water-treatment infrastructure used by commercial and industrial (C&I) businesses. Its model is designed to help companies adopt equipment without bearing the full upfront capital cost themselves.
The startup works with original equipment manufacturers and engineering, procurement and construction firms to deliver projects. Its existing solutions include solar installations, energy-efficiency upgrades and wastewater treatment. Battery storage will add another asset category, allowing customers to store electricity and manage when they draw power, although the company has not detailed the scale or timing of its planned BESS rollout.
AI and Machine Learning Support Project Decisions
Two Point O uses a proprietary artificial intelligence and machine learning platform across project solutioning, underwriting and asset monitoring. The company says the system helps assess projects and financing risks, monitor deployed assets, support predictive maintenance and improve operational performance.
The platform is part of the company's approach to managing infrastructure projects across multiple suppliers and customer sites. It does not mean the company manufactures the equipment itself: Two Point O works with external equipment makers and project contractors, while coordinating financing and deployment.
The company said its assets under management grew 1.5 times each quarter over the past three quarters. It has not disclosed the underlying AUM figure, so the growth claim cannot be translated into an absolute portfolio value from the information available.
Funding Targets Energy-Intensive Industries
The company plans to deepen its presence in industries that rely heavily on electricity and water, including data centres, automotive, pharmaceuticals, manufacturing and healthcare. These businesses can face high utility costs and require reliable infrastructure, creating demand for solar power, energy-efficiency improvements, water treatment and storage.
Two Point O estimates that the commercial and industrial market for customised capital and asset solutions represents an annual opportunity of $100 billion to $150 billion. That is the company's market estimate, not an independently verified industry total.
The funding gives Two Point O additional resources to broaden its offering beyond its existing clean-energy and water businesses. Its ability to scale will depend on securing customers, financing projects and coordinating equipment suppliers and contractors. The latest round supports that expansion, but the company has not published a detailed deployment timetable or disclosed how the $10 million will be divided among its planned activities.
