Graph AI Raises $13.3 Million Series A to Scale AI Patient Safety

Graph AI raises $13.3 million Series A to expand its AI-powered patient safety platform

AI-powered patient safety company Graph AI has raised $13.3 million in Series A funding led by Insight Partners, with existing investor Bessemer Venture Partners also participating. The company plans to use the new capital to expand its Graph Safety platform across the United States and Europe and develop additional tools for pharmaceutical and biotechnology companies.

Founded in 2024, Graph AI develops software for pharmacovigilance, the process pharmaceutical companies use to collect, assess and report adverse events and other potential safety issues linked to medicines. Its platform is designed to automate parts of that work while keeping human oversight and traceability in place.

AI Targets Drug Safety Workflows

Graph Safety combines AI with deterministic controls, validation layers and audit trails designed for regulated environments. The system keeps output and source information traceable, allowing safety teams to review automated work and maintain documentation required for regulatory processes.

The company says its technology has already been deployed by pharmaceutical and biotech customers. In live deployments, Graph AI says case-processing turnaround times have fallen from more than three hours to under 10 minutes, while operating costs have been reduced by as much as 66%.

Platform Expands Beyond Case Processing

Graph AI currently offers two modules. Its Intake system captures and triages adverse-event reports from different channels, while Nucleus acts as an intelligent safety database that automates case processing from end to end.

The company is also launching Report, a module designed for automated aggregate reporting. Graph AI has additionally secured design partnerships for future products, including Signal, which is intended to identify emerging safety signals and patterns across cases.

Funding Supports US and European Expansion

The latest investment follows Graph AI's seed round in October 2025 and gives the company additional capital to expand its customer base and product development. Insight Partners led the latest round, while Bessemer Venture Partners continued its backing as an existing investor.

Graph AI is entering a market where pharmaceutical companies face large volumes of safety data and strict regulatory requirements. Automating repetitive processing could reduce the workload for safety teams, but the technology still needs to meet the documentation, validation and oversight standards expected in drug development.

The company is betting that AI can take on more of the operational work surrounding pharmacovigilance while leaving critical analysis and decision-making with human specialists. Its next phase will focus on expanding that model across the US and European pharmaceutical markets.
