Nazara Technologies Appoints Raymond Albaladejo Stauffer as CEO

Raymond Albaladejo Stauffer appointed CEO of Nazara Technologies

Nazara Technologies has appointed Raymond Albaladejo Stauffer as its new Chief Executive Officer, effective September 16, 2026. The leadership transition sees founder Nitish Mittersain move into the role of Managing Director, while Stauffer takes charge of the company's day-to-day operations and broader growth strategy.

The leadership change comes as Nazara continues to expand its gaming business through international acquisitions. Stauffer's appointment is also accompanied by a reported ₹583.5 crore personal investment, adding a significant financial commitment alongside his new executive role.

Stauffer Takes Charge as CEO

Stauffer brings international experience across the gaming and entertainment industries to Nazara's top executive position. His appointment is part of the company's effort to strengthen its leadership as it expands beyond its existing Indian gaming portfolio.

As CEO, Stauffer will oversee Nazara's operations and work on scaling the company's gaming ecosystem across multiple markets. Founder Nitish Mittersain will continue to play a key role as Managing Director following the transition.

Founder Moves to Managing Director

Mittersain founded Nazara and has been central to the company's growth in India's gaming industry. His move to Managing Director allows him to remain involved in the business while handing the CEO role to Stauffer.

The transition separates the company's executive leadership from its founder-led management structure at a time when Nazara is pursuing a more international growth strategy.

₹583.5 Crore Investment Accompanies Appointment

Stauffer's arrival is also notable because of his reported ₹583.5 crore personal investment in Nazara Technologies. The investment gives the incoming CEO a substantial financial stake in the company's future as he takes over its leadership.

The move comes alongside Nazara's broader expansion strategy, with the company increasing its presence in international gaming markets and adding new businesses to its portfolio.

Nazara Expands Through European Acquisitions

Nazara has been expanding internationally through acquisitions, including Bluetile and BestPlay in Spain. The deals strengthen its presence in European gaming and add new businesses to the company's growing portfolio.

With Stauffer now leading the company and Mittersain continuing as Managing Director, Nazara is entering its next phase with a leadership structure designed to support its international expansion and wider gaming ambitions.
