Global Space Connectivity & Sustainability Events 2026
The Global Space Connectivity & Sustainability Events 2026 will bring together international policymakers, satellite operators, researchers and technology leaders in Riyadh and online to discuss global connectivity, next-generation satellite networks and the sustainable use of space.
The Global Space Connectivity & Sustainability Events 2026 will take place from October 12–14 in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia, bringing together two established international gatherings: Connecting the World from the Skies and the Space Sustainability Forum. Organised around the theme “Connected Earth, Sustainable Space,” the combined programme aims to address the growing relationship between global connectivity and the responsible management of space resources.
The event will bring together representatives from governments, international organisations, telecommunications regulators, satellite operators, technology companies and research institutions. Discussions will examine how satellite communications and non-terrestrial networks can expand internet access, particularly in underserved regions, while supporting the development of future 6G connectivity systems.
Other key topics include direct-to-device satellite services, spectrum coordination, emerging space economies, orbital congestion, space debris mitigation and international space governance. The programme will also explore how satellite data can support climate monitoring, disaster response and environmental sustainability, alongside sessions on international space law and emerging technologies.
The hybrid format allows participants to engage with the programme onsite or virtually. By bringing connectivity and sustainability specialists together, the event aims to encourage international cooperation on the technical, regulatory and environmental challenges facing the rapidly expanding space sector.
