International Conference on Applied Science and Technology (ICAST) 2026
ICAST 2026 is a hybrid international conference in Surabaya bringing together researchers, academics and industry professionals to explore technology innovation, sustainable development and the role of emerging technologies in social transformation.
The International Conference on Applied Science and Technology (ICAST) 2026 will take place on October 9–10 in Surabaya, Indonesia, with participants able to attend either onsite or online. The conference is centred on the theme “Sustainable Development Through Technology Innovation and Social Transformation” and is designed to create a platform for researchers, academics and industry professionals to exchange research, ideas and practical approaches to technology-driven development.
The programme covers a broad range of technology fields, including artificial intelligence and machine learning, data science, cloud and edge computing, blockchain, cybersecurity, IoT, wireless networks, robotics, drones, smart grids, renewable energy, energy storage and electric-vehicle infrastructure. It also examines how technologies such as AI, IoT and advanced computing can be applied to power systems, industrial environments and wider social challenges.
The hybrid format makes the conference accessible to both onsite and international online participants. The physical conference will be hosted at Hotel Platinum Tunjungan Surabaya, while online participation is available for presenters and eligible participants. Accepted research papers will be included in the ICAST 2026 Book Program, with selected improved papers considered for journal publication and accepted papers submitted for possible inclusion in IEEE Xplore, subject to IEEE requirements.
